After the success achieved with the Christmas Concert 2024, which saw the Cathedral completely packed, I Solisti Veneti, Maestro Giuliano Carella and soprano Aida Pascu return to Adria for the Easter Concert 2025. Dedicated to the period of reflection and prayer linked to Lent, the performance of the magnificent “Stabat Mater” by Luigi Boccherini, in its first draft of 1781, for soprano, strings and basso continuo.
The programme also features violinist Lucio Degani as protagonist of Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto in B flat major RV 583 for discordant violin, orchestra in two choirs and basso continuo and a tribute to the Milanese composer Giovanni Battista Sammartini, on the 250th anniversary of his death.
