Enzo Ligresti

He graduated in 1989 from the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice under the guidance of Aldo Nardo with top marks. In 1991 he obtained the relative diploma from the Accademia Internazionale Superiore di Musica in Biella under the guidance of Corrado Romano with the result of “Excellent with special mention”. Subsequently, always with Corrado Romano, he attended the Geneva Conservatory and in 1994 he won the First Prize of “Virtuosité” with special mention. Subsequently he perfected himself with Giuliano Carmignola and attended the “Stauffer” Academy in Cremona with Salvatore Accardo. Awarded in numerous national and international competitions, he has made several recordings, also collaborating with Maestro Aldo Ciccolini, some of which were world premieres. He has an intense concert activity as a soloist and in chamber groups (Duo, Trio and Quartet), collaborating with established musicians of various nationalities, including Rocco Filippini, Bruno Canino, Maxence Larrieu, etc., with great consensus from the public and the press. Since 1993 he has collaborated with “I Solisti Veneti”, with whom he has carried out intense concert activity, also in solo roles. Since 2009 he has held the role of Concertmaster of the Second Violins.
