He approached the cello under the guidance of Maestro Max Cassoli. At 18 he graduated with top marks from the “Cesare Pollini” Conservatory in Padua under the guidance of Maestro Fernando Sartor. In 2015 he obtained the diploma with top marks from the advanced cello course held by Giovanni Sollima at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. As a soloist, his musical education also benefits from the precious advice of Maestro Luca Simoncini. He curates the chamber music repertoire with Maestros Stefania Redaelli and Marian Mika. He holds concerts as a soloist and in a duo with his twin sister Leonora, a world-famous pianist. Always with his sister and together with the flautist Tommaso Benciolini he forms the FortePiano Trio with which he regularly holds concerts and tours, one of which was held in the most important halls of Chinese cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Jinan, Tianjin, etc. Always with the trio he has performed in world premiere unpublished compositions by Andrea Battistoni (dedicated trio) and Giovanni Sollima. He plays in the AMAR Trio, with Leonora and the violinist Laura Marzadori (concertmaster of the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala in Milan), a group that was awarded the prestigious XXXII Franco Abbiati Prize, receiving in particular the Pietro Farulli Prize for chamber music in its first edition. With the same group he recently played live on the radio on Rai Radio Tre on the occasion of The Quirinale Concerts. He has played for important seasons including the Dino Ciani Festival in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Friends of Music in Ancona, the Association of Artists in Concert in Mantua, the Polytechnic of Turin, the Associazione Musicale Lucchese, the Friends of Music in Mestre, the Friends of Music in Forlì, the International Festival of Spoleto, the Festival Note sul mare in Ischia, the Galuppi Festival in Venice, Asolo Musica, Yamaha Piano Discovery, the Kazhakh National University of Arts in Astana (KZ). As a soloist he has won various national and international competitions including the First Absolute Prize in all categories in the IV edition of the International Competition "Pia Tebaldini" in Brescia, the "Terme SPA" and "Salsubium SPA" prizes in the XV "Best Graduates of Italy" Competition in Castrocaro Terme. In the chamber music field, among others, he won the First Absolute Prize for chamber music at the Maria Grazia Vivaldi Competition in Montalto Ligure (2013) and at the Val di Sole Competition (2015). The magazine Suonare News dedicated an interview to him in the section The best of youth. In 2011 he was selected to participate in the concert activities of the OGI (Italian Youth Orchestra), winning a scholarship as first part in cellos. Since 2015 he has collaborated with the orchestra I Solisti Veneti. For the Velut Luna label he recorded a CD with the FortePiano Trio with music by Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Martinu, Weber, reported by Valentina Lo Surdo on Rai RadioTre and welcomed with appreciation by critics; for the Decca label he recorded Onyricon, collaborating with Giovanni Sollima and a small ensemble of cellos, with original music by Sollima himself.
