Chiara Parrini

She graduated in violin in 1985 at the “Cesare Pollini” Conservatory of Padua under the guidance of Maestro Piero Toso. In the same year she won the competition for young talents Città di Genova. After attending the advanced courses at the Portogruaro Academy with Pavel Vernikov, in 1986 she won the scholarship to continue her studies at the “International Menuhin Music Academy” in Gstaad (CH), where she studied violin under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Lysy and viola with Johannes Eskar. She graduated in violin in 1989 in the presence of Yehudi Menuhin. With the Camerata Lysy and Yehudi Menuhin she performed in prestigious theaters and halls. In 1990 she obtained a Master of advanced training in violin at the Basel Conservatory with Adelina Oprean. In the same year she began collaborating with I Solisti Veneti directed by Claudio Scimone with whom she performed as a soloist in the most beautiful and prestigious halls in the world. In 2006 she was invited to Clemson University in the USA, to perform in Beethoven's triple concerto. Together with I Solisti Veneti she took part in Masterclasses as a teacher in Oman (United Arab Emirates), Caracas, with the Orchestra “Simon Bolivares” of Maestro Abreu, Yerevan (Armenia) and Shanghai. She also collaborated with the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna (Second Violin Concerto), with the Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro La Fenice in Venice, with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana in Lugano. In 2003 she recorded with I Solisti Veneti, as a soloist, The Summer And The Autumn from The Four Seasons of Vivaldi on DVD for TDK Mediactive, Rai trade production. In 2018 he graduated in viola with top marks at the “Cesare Pollini” Conservatory of Music in Padua. Since 2014 he has been a professor of violin at the “Francesco Cilea” Conservatory of Music in Reggio Calabria.
