A student of the great Maestro Dino Asciolla, he further improved under the guidance of Maestro Bruno Giuranna at the “Stauffer” Academy in Cremona and with Maestro Fedor Drushzinin at the Accademia Asolana. In 1997 he further improved by obtaining a Master Degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Sydney, attending the classes of Maestro Wolfram Christ, Esteher van Strallen and Susan Blake. He also attended the quartet class of Maestros Piero Farulli and Milan Skampa at the Fiesole School of Music and the Chamber Music course at the Piano Academy of Imola, studying with Pier Narciso Masi, Alexander Lonquich and Dario De rosa.
He won the First Prize (viola category) in the 1988 and 1994 editions of the student violists review of the “Città di Vittorio Veneto” Competition. He has collaborated in chamber groups with world-famous artists such as Spierer, Toso, Brunello, Bogino, Bogdanovich, van Strallen, Sollima, Dindo, Carmignola, Vernikov, and the Moscow String Quartet. As First Viola he has collaborated with the Orchestra della Fondazione Comunale di Bologna, the Orchestra della Fondazione Arena di Verona, the Orchestra Sinfonica del Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Mahler Jugend Orchester, the Orchestra Verdi di Milano, the Orquestra Sinfonica della Galicia, and the Orchestra d'Archi Italiana. He has collaborated with I Solisti Veneti continuously since 1999. He teaches viola at the “Nino Rota” Conservatory in Monopoli.
